The Kentucky State AFL-CIO is the statewide federation of labor — 60+ affiliated unions and roughly 100,000 union members from Paducah to Pikeville, united to fight for every working Kentuckian in Frankfort and beyond.
What the State Fed Does
A state federation is labor's statehouse army. The Kentucky State AFL-CIO tracks every bill that touches working families, testifies in committee, screens and endorses candidates, and mobilizes union voters at election time.
It also trains union members to run for office themselves — because the best way to get worker-friendly laws is to put workers in the room where laws are written.
