Deeply discounted online degrees through partner schools like Empire State University ($250/credit, fees waived) and Western Governors University (5% discount). The original Eastern Gateway free program served all AFL-CIO unions but was discontinued in 2022. These affordable options replaced it — and Pell Grants can cover much of the remaining cost.
