  • First Amendment activity protection
Leadership Spotlight
Billy Dycus
President, Tennessee AFL-CIO Labor Council

A lifelong United Steelworker, Billy Dycus has served as President of the Tennessee AFL-CIO since 2015 and was re-elected to his third four-year term — a testament to the trust he's built across Tennessee's labor movement.

Under his leadership, the Tennessee AFL-CIO has expanded its political action footprint, defended collective bargaining at the state capitol, and supported organizing wins from Memphis to Chattanooga. Billy's steady, principled advocacy keeps Tennessee workers at the center of the conversation.
