The Knoxville-Oak Ridge Central Labor Council (KORCLC) is one of nearly 500 state and local labor councils of the AFL-CIO that are at the heart of the labor movement. KORCLC is a democratically governed body composed of affiliated unions and other labor organizations in East Tennessee, dedicated to representing the interests of working people. KORCLC mobilizes its affiliates and community partners to advocate for social and economic justice, striving daily to make their communities better for all people. Headquartered at the historic Knoxville Labor Temple, the Council holds regular monthly Delegate Meetings and provides meeting spaces for affiliated organizations and friends of labor.
