(UCW-CWA) • Founded 2000
United Campus Workers is a wall-to-wall union of higher education workers — staff, faculty, graduate and undergraduate workers — building a powerful voice on campuses across the South and beyond. Born in Tennessee as UCW-TN (CWA Local 3865), UCW now has locals and chapters in a dozen states including Tennessee, Alabama, Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina, Virginia, and Wisconsin, with a dedicated campaign to grow union power at HBCUs.
